At last year’s Avignon, Les Désaxés performed their show Sea, Sax & Fun which we
saw and much enjoyed. We were fortunate to be invited to the premiere of their latest
production, Mystère Sax, in Paris this January. Four highly talented saxophonists
telling the story of Adolphus Sax, the inventor of the saxophone, through the medium
of a silent film - it’s inspired!
A very funny show, which leaves its audience in awe of the playing while highly amused
(and the children in front of us clapping along to some of the tunes they recognised).
We’re looking for a couple of dates in the UK this autumn prior to a longer tour
